The LCD Display a powerline receiving device that allows displaying information from a remote location. Simply connect the module to the power line and send information to the display from any other AC powerline transceiver.
Each device can be addressed individually with up to 2 billions different serial numbers. Also, the same information can be broadcasted to all devices or to groups of devices in a network.
The LCD Display is designed as a stand-alone module. It includes the PLM-1 modem and all components required to create a complete powerline receiving node: analog front end, coupling unit, power supply, microcontroller, crystal and EEPROM. The device is provided with a 20x2 or 16x2 characters LCD. However, the display driver can be adapted to work with many different display
technologies and formats.
